Equipment Manager
Duties: We're looking for a reliable Equipment Manager to take full ownership of all equipment and storage. This is a hands-on operational role. You’ll be responsible for making sure all equipment is organized, maintained, and ready for leagues and tournaments. Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage systems independently.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage all volleyball equipment including nets, poles, boundary lines, balls, and league/tournament kits
- Maintain a clean, organized storage unit with clear systems for access and return
- Track inventory and keep an up-to-date equipment list
- Ensure equipment is prepared for leagues and tournaments
- Ensure all gear is accounted for throughout the season
- Inspect equipment regularly for wear and damage
- Repair or coordinate replacement of damaged equipment
- Order new equipment and restock inventory as needed
- Anticipate equipment needs based on upcoming events and registrations
- Assist with setup and breakdown when needed
League Managers
Duties: We're looking for reliable League Managers to run weeknight leagues. This is a hands-on, event-focused role. You’ll be responsible for keeping league nights running smoothly, managing players, and handling game operations. Must be organized, dependable, and able to operate independently in a live event environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage participant RSVPs and communication via Discord
- Set up and break down volleyball nets
- Manage player check-ins and check-outs
- Operate the VIP app to generate matchups and announce teams
- Record game results
- Coordinate with VIP admins, associates, and participants
- Perform end-of-night cleanup of the play area
- Attend sponsor happy hour
Social Media Manager
Duties: We're looking for a Social Media Manager to manage our presence on Instagram and Facebook. This role focuses on creating, scheduling, and posting content that promotes leagues, tournaments, and the VIP brand. Must be organized, creative, and comfortable owning content from idea to post.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage VIP social media accounts on Instagram and Facebook
- Use Meta Business Suite to schedule and publish posts
- Create and edit graphics, videos, and other social content
- Post league and tournament promotions, announcements, and recaps
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style
- Monitor messages, comments, and basic engagement
- Coordinate with VIP staff on content needs and timing
Videographer/Photographer
Duties: We're looking for a Videographer and Photographer to capture leagues and tournaments as scheduled. This role focuses on shooting high-quality video and photos and creating engaging highlight reels that showcase the energy of VIP events. Must be reliable, creative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced live sports environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Attend leagues and tournaments as scheduled to capture content
- Shoot high-quality video and photos during live events
- Create highlight reels and short-form video content
- Edit footage for social media and promotional use
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager on content needs
- Organize and deliver edited content in a timely manner
- Ensure content aligns with VIP branding and style
