This season of Friday League is proudly presented by The Worthington, a Canton Square bar and restaurant known for its lively sports-bar atmosphere, classic American fare, and strong neighborhood energy. Located in Canton, The Worthington provides great food and craft cocktails in an upbeat setting that’s perfect for post-game hangouts. With its modern take on the classic American tavern and a social atmosphere that keeps the bar buzzing, The season will wrap with an end-of-season party hosted at The Worthington, celebrating the league champions.

Season Details:
Starts Friday, April 3, 2026 at 5:30pm
6 weeks of regular season + 2 week playoff
FORMAT: Coed Quads (4v4)
Core league skill level:
Serve can be consistently executed, controlled and directed towards a specific location on the court.
Accurate on serve receive and defense for most serves; ball generally goes towards the setter.
Can generally bump set effectively. Can set out-of-system passes. Hand setting is clean, but may be a work in progress.
Can hit the ball consistently to multiple locations on the court with decent speed. Generally can identify blockers and hit around them. Has a good sense of shot selection (swing or roll line/cross, shot placement, etc).
If blocking, has good timing and creates an obstacle for the hitter.
On defense, can move well and adjust to hard-driven balls and shots. Can get digs or touches during defensive plays.
Exhibits game awareness, strategy, and effective communication with teammates.
Players in this league are competitive, can play well under pressure, and exhibit decent athleticism.
